I've been purposely avoiding the black-and-white ensembles for a bit (still a little too funereal for me...), but seeing as most of my clothing falls into that category, there's only so long I could last without being drawn back into it.
I originally bought the star-charm necklace for my cousin as a Christmas gift, only to discover that another one of our cousins had already given it to her. A sparkly doodad is a sparkly doodad, so I kept it for myself. It was featured on a K-drama... which is why my cousin wanted it in the first place. I don't really give a crap whether some Korean starlet wore it around her neck or not. I'm more concerned with the weird creases forming in/above my eyelids. What the heck is that all about?
My actual name, which is Persian in origin, also translates to "star". So! There you have it.
Blouse, Gap. Blazer, Ann Taylor. Necklace, Clue.
